UKC CH Canil Akaroa's Dourado is now a daddy!! This past November (08) he was bred to Cindy's girl "Estrela da Quinta da Liria" (call name Quinta). I drove down to Cindy's for the whelping, and on January 16th there I was, in the whelping box with 5 brand new little babies. They are ABSOLUTELY beautiful, strong, and healthy. There are 3 girls and 2 boys ... all fawn, one might be gray. Quinta is a SUPER mom!!! I really enjoyed watching a first time mom take to her new job like she's been doing it her whole life. Cindy's decided that they will be named after (in)famous bootleggers as this day marked the beginning of 13 years of full blown large scale bootlegging. |
BelgiansI currently have no immediate plans on breeding either of the Belgian Girls ... though that could change after I get Dazzle OFA'd. I'm sure Bonnie (http://www.bonntyme.com/) might want a litter from her (she is co-owned between Bonnie and me). EstrelasDourado has sired his first litter!! He's been bred to Estrela da Quinta da Liria of TrailsEnd Estrela. The puppies are due Jan 15 2009. I'm very excited about Dourado's first litter! I'm sure he and Quinta will make very beautiful babies! Both dogs have outstanding PennHip scores -- Dourado has also been OFA cleared for Cardio and Patallar Luxation.
