UKC CH Canil Akaroa's Dourado is now a daddy!! This past November (08) he was bred to Cindy's girl "Estrela da Quinta da Liria" (call name Quinta). I drove down to Cindy's for the whelping, and on January 16th there I was, in the whelping box with 5 brand new little babies. They are ABSOLUTELY beautiful, strong, and healthy. There are 3 girls and 2 boys ... all fawn, one might be gray. Quinta is a SUPER mom!!! I really enjoyed watching a first time mom take to her new job like she's been doing it her whole life. The puppies were born on the 89th anniversary of the start of prohibition in the USA. Cindy's decided that they will be named after (in)famous bootleggers as this day marked the beginning of 13 years of full blown large scale bootlegging.
